Chinese Mythology Stories - 05 Cangjie, the Creator of Chinese Characters

According to legend, Cangjie was born with "four eyes and two pupils". In Chinese history, there were only eight people recorded who had double pupils, including Cangjie, Chong'er, Yu Shun, Xiang Yu, Lü Guang, Gao Yang, Yu Ju Luo and Li Yu. Cangjie was a saint who created Chinese characters during the time of Emperor Huangdi.
